Prior to Ticketing
Passenger must verify all the information (full name spelling, cities from and to, dates of travel etc) taken by our agents before ticket is issued. Once ticket is issued, Mahabazaar Travels or its employee or agents can not be held responsible for any liability or damage for any omissions or errors. Most of our fares are non-refundable. If ticket is refundable, minimum airline penalty of $350 and our service charges of $100 will apply. Penalty varies from airline to airline.
Payment
Preferred method of payment is by check. That helps us keep the costs low and offer the best rates to our customers. Some airlines accept credit card payment. In which case we will pass on the information to the airlines or intermediary and charges from third party will be appear on your credit card statement. Generally airlines do not impose additional charges for credit card payment. In some situation airlines may not accept credit card payment and we may have to use our credit card processor in which case there may be applicable processing fees.
Cancellation: Changes and Refunds and Booked reservation cancellation
Refundable tickets will be processed by Mahabazaar Travels. A refund process might take between 8 to 12 weeks. It varies from airline to airline. Agency handling fee of $145.00 applies to all refundable cancelled tickets in addition to the fees imposed by the airlines.
Name Changes
Passengers’ names must match the traveler’s passport information at the time of booking. Name changes are absolutely not permitted. It is advised that passenger or individual confirming to issue the ticket send by email all their details to the agent or travel@mahabazaar.com to re-confirm or verify their name, travel dates etc. Normally itinerary or e-ticket is emailed to the customer. If any errors or omissions are noticed the customer must on the same business day inform in writing about this to our agent. Mahabazaar Travels will not be responsible after that.
Frequent Flyer, Special Meal , Seating Request
Passenger's responsibility to contact the airlines to give Frequent Flyer account information, request special meals, and or seating arrangement. It is the responsibility of the passenger to reconfirm the flights at least 72 hours before their scheduled departure on all the flights.
Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that he/she is in possession of valid travel documents (passport, visa etc.). All such documents are the responsibility of the passenger, who is traveling. Certain countries may have restrictions on passengers from certain Nationality, Resident Status or Visa status even if it is only a stop over. Do not assume, rules keep changing frequently and it is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they have the required status to legally undertake the journey through the transit airport and to the final destination country. While our agents may have some knowledge on these matters it is made absolutely clear that our agents are not qualified or trained to give out any advice on these matters. If any suggestions are made by our agents on visa matter’s then it is has to verified by the passenger with the respective embassy and Mahabazaar Travels will not be held responsible for any damages or inconvenience suffered by the passenger. The service that Mahabazaar Travels and its agents provide our purely ticketing and we do not provide any visa service or consulting.
